Meet the Officials and Advisory Board
The W.S.B.B.A. is committed to
serving the community and its advisory board consists of not only
distinguished martial artists but also representatives from all
segments of society.

W.S.B.B.A. President and
Founder Kevin Taylor
(e-mail) holds the Grandmaster Rank (9th Dan) in the W.S.B.B.A.,
having broken his previous W.S.B.B.A.
world record
of 411 bricks in 54.8
seconds by breaking 584 bricks in 57.5 seconds at Metro Beach
Metropark on August 4, 2007 (also certified by the
World Records Academy and
www.recordholders.org). Mr. Taylor holds a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Tang Soo Do
Karate and a 1st Dan in Tae Kwon Do as certified by the World
Martial Arts
College. He is also the Founder and Chief Instructor of his
own martial arts school, Community Fitness, which is headquartered
in Mount Clemens, Michigan. As a martial arts leader and President
of the W.S.B.B.A., Mr. Taylor is also a member of the United
States Breaking Association and is committed to bringing competitive
speed brick breaking to martial artists of all disciplines, ranks,
and nationalities. He also serves on the Martial Arts Board of
Directors of
Z.I.A.D. Healthcare for the Underserved. |

Benjamin I. Myers
(e-mail) is
the Vice President and Webmaster of the W.S.B.B.A., holding the
1st Dan Black Belt in speed brick breaking. He is also a 1st
Dan Black Belt and Executive Officer of Community Fitness Martial
Arts, based in Mount Clemens, Michigan, and a Certified Tang Soo
Do Black Belt (No. 100-008-01) and Instructor with the
World Martial Arts College. Professionally, Mr.
Myers serves as the
Deputy City Manager of the
City of Madison
Heights, Michigan. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government
from Franklin and Marshall College, where he was elected to the
prestigious
Phi Beta Kappa national academic honor society,
Mr. Myers earned his Master's Degree in Governmental Administration
from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of numerous boards and
commissions in Madison Heights, and he previously served as the
Assistant to the City Manager and Director of Personnel and
Special Projects for the City of Garden City, Michigan. |

Dr. Ibraham Ahmed
(e-mail) is the
President of the
World Martial Arts College. He is an 8th Degree Grand
Master, with black belts in Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Judo.
Dr. Ahmed also serves as Vice President of the
Michigan Tae Kwon Do Association, and is an International
Master Instructor and World Certified Referee with over 40 years
of martial arts experience. Dr. Ahmed is the Executive Director of

Jeffrey L. Bryant
(e-mail) is a 5th Degree Black Belt and Owner/Chief Instructor
of
Bryant's Isshinryu Karate in Oxford, Michigan. Mr. Bryant is
the Michigan State Representative to the United Okinawan Budo
Association. He has been practicing karate since 1979, and
has competed in every major tournament in Michigan as well as
Canada and surrounding states, placing first in over 60
tournaments with over a 150 trophies to show for his hard work. A
former Michigan Karate Circuit and International Karate Circuit
Black Belt Heavyweight Champion, Mr. Bryant is committed to
educating, sharing, and passionately promoting the art and history
of Isshinryu karate, through expert instruction, community
involvement, and genuine concern for students. |

5th Dan Master Grigg
Espinoza
(e-mail) started his Martial Arts training in Michigan in 1972
and was teaching Kenpo Karate in Arizona by 1978. He returned to
Michigan and in 1979 he started Tae Kwon Do Han Moo Kwan and won
an AAU Tae Kwon Do gold medal in 1981. That same year Master
Espinoza began kickboxing, competing successfully in the
Midwestern circuit.
In 1987, he developed a MLEOTC approved Defensive Tactics class
and taught that and other Defensive Tactics classes at area Law
Enforcement Academies. Master Espinoza has trained in many
styles of Martial Arts and is currently operating Urban Warrior
Mixed Martial Arts along with being a Kickboxing Promoter and
Tournament Director. |

Ryan Rogowski graduated
from Clintondale High School as the valedictorian of the class of
2004 with a 4.06 GPA. He is currently in his junior year of
college at Grand Valley State University where he has a 3.7 GPA.
Ryan is double-majoring in Criminal Justice and Political Science
and plans to attend law school upon completion of his
undergraduate studies. |
